Frequently asked

What is The Zesto?
A restaurant POS and table ordering system: digital menus, live orders, kitchen and waiter views, cashiers, and an owner dashboard — with add-ons for reservations, ratings, analytics, TapKey, permissions, and multi-branch billing.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. Guests use a QR code, TapKey NFC stand, or short link in any modern browser.
What is TapKey?
Physical NFC tags at the table for verified tap-to-order — an alternative to QR entry, managed from the owner dashboard.
Can guests book a table online?
Yes, when reservations are enabled. Staff manage bookings from the Reservations tab.
Can staff access be limited by section?
Yes. Each member can have view, edit, or no access per section. Owners retain full access.
Can more than one location run on one account?
Yes. Branch venues share one billing account; each keeps its own menu and tables.
Where is the setup documentation?
The setup guide at /guide covers sign-up, onboarding, and each dashboard tab with screenshots.
Who is it for?
Independent restaurants, cafés, and small chains that need integrated POS and table ordering (QR or TapKey).
